Without a doubt, this is the best tour to see how Roatan is really like outside of the busy touristy areas. We will snorkel the reef (both inside and outside the Marine Park) and see amazing sceneries like mangrove channels, dolphin swimming pools, turquoise water and white sandy beaches. However, the best part of this trip is when we get to experience the untouched local culture by visiting Crawfish Rock village. There, we will learn about the village while interacting with local kids and stopping at Miss Dulce Connor’s house for lunch where she will cook a Caribbean homemade meal especially for us. So yummy!
We suggest our guests to bring little presents for the kids; treats, toothbrushes, clothes, school supplies, etc. Anything is appreciated. We do not want to just hand out these things to them but we involve them in different tasks before they can receive their gift: trash pickup, souvenir making, a thank you note, etc. We are always organizing different campaigns for them so let us know if you want to help and we can let you know how.
The tour includes 2 snorkel stops (one in an old shipwreck half sunk), snorkel gear, boat trip, lunch and it costs $100 per person. We need a minimum of people to run this tour so please check with us about available dates.
